What if God wants to do more through your life than you’ve dared believe possible?

Most church leaders and disciples aren’t lacking passion. They’re lacking the permission to believe that ordinary people — people like them, in churches like theirs — can make and actually multiply disciples. That real, self-sustaining, generation-after-generation multiplication isn’t just something that happens in Africa or Asia. It can happen anywhere.

Throughout history, there are those who have dared to believe God for more. Driven by a burning passion for the lost and a sense of urgency to reach them, they stretched their faith to ask God for something greater.

Is God calling you to be the person who dares to dream with Him for more?

I didn’t start out believing multiplication was possible for ordinary people like me.

I thought it was for someone else — someone more gifted, better resourced, more strategically placed than me and my team. I'd tried all the strategies and come up empty. I figured maybe it wouldn't work for me or those I led.

I was wrong.

I’m Cynthia Anderson —as a disciple-making coach, trainer, author, and speaker with over 35 years of on-the-ground ministry experience across Asia, Africa, and the United States. I’ve lived and worked in Thailand, trained leaders across Southeast Asia, coached practitioners in India and Africa, and watched God do things through ordinary, obedient people that I once would have said were utterly impossible.

But here’s what I want you to know: none of it started with learning a method or strategy. I saw changes when there was a shift — a change in how I was thinking about God, about people, and about what He actually wanted to do through them.

That shift changed everything.

From one struggling church planter to 24 gospel movements and counting

Early in my ministry, I worked hard. I prayed hard. I poured myself into the people God gave me. And for years, I saw some fruit — but not multiplication. The disciples I was making were somehow dependent on me and simply not very fruitful. The groups I was forming couldn’t start new ones without my help. We made disciples, but they didn’t make other disciples. There was little to no real multiplication.

God began to show me (and some others I worked with) that the problem wasn’t effort or passion. It was our mindsets. And as He began to shift the way we thought — our beliefs about His sufficiency, about ordinary believers, about simple reproducible patterns — everything changed.

Over the years that followed, working with a global team through the ministry I co-founded called Disciple Makers Increase, I watched 24 Disciple Making Movements emerge across Asia and Africa. Over 3,000 leaders trained across 122 countries. Hundreds of thousands of new disciples baptized. Not because of anything extraordinary about me or my content per se — but because of what happens when ordinary people finally dare to believe that God wants to multiply disciples through them.

This is why Dare to Multiply exists.

Here’s what I’ve discovered after decades in the field: the principles that fuel Disciple Making Movements around the world are not culturally specific. They are Scriptural. They work in Minnesota and in Mumbai. They work in small rural churches and in urban megachurches. They work wherever there are ordinary, willing, faith-filled people — people willing to pray, to learn a new way, and to put in the effort to see disciples who actually multiply.

The harvest is not just plentiful in Africa. It is plentiful everywhere — in the USA, in Europe, in Australia. That’s not to say it won’t take effort or some major changes in how we think and work. But I am absolutely convinced that multiplication is possible anywhere.

The question isn’t whether God can multiply disciples through ordinary people.

He’s been doing it for two thousand years.

The question is whether you will dare to believe He wants to do it through you.

I wrote The Multiplier’s Mindset for the leader who carries a quiet ache — who loves their people deeply, preaches on discipleship faithfully, and yet can’t shake the feeling that something more is possible. If that’s you, you’re in the right place.

The cost of change is real, but the fruit is worth it.

WILL YOU DARE TO MULTIPLY?
