About Cynthia
Cynthia Anderson was born in Africa to missionary parents and grew up across that region. After studying Cross-Cultural Ministry at North Central University in Minnesota, she joined YWAM and spent years in church planting — first in Nepal, then 14 years in India, then a decade in Thailand — before returning to the United States.
Along the way, the church she helped plant became a movement. Then she helped catalyze 24 more. Over 250,000 people have come to Christ, been baptized, and begun making disciples.
Today Cynthia leads Dare to Multiply, equipping Western church leaders and global practitioners to think and act like multipliers, and Disciple Makers Increase (a YWAM Frontier Missions nonprofit), supporting indigenous movement practitioners among the world’s unreached peoples.
She is the author of The Multiplier’s Mindset and co-hosts the Dare to Multiply podcast. She speaks with the authority of someone who has watched ordinary disciples change nations — and the warmth of someone who still believes yours can too.
